- Open the Shortcuts app, tap +, and name it youtube2mp3.
- Tap the ⓘ (or the down-arrow by the name) and turn on Show in Share Sheet. In the top block, tap Any and keep only URLs and Text. Set If there’s no input to Get Clipboard.

- Add the action Save File and leave Ask Where to Save on, so you can pick a folder in Files.
- (Optional) Add Show Notification: “MP3 saved”.
3. Use it
In the YouTube app, tap Share → More → youtube2mp3. The MP3 is ready in about 20–60 seconds for a typical video, longer for long ones. Then pick where to save it.
You can also copy a link and run the Shortcut from the home screen, since it reads the clipboard.
If something goes wrong, the saved file is a small youtube2mp3-error.txt that explains why.
